If you know How to Play Risk well, you get paid back. All Risk-like strategy games grant their players for been good at war strategies. As you continue playing Major Command Risk more and more and raising your skill level, you will start accruing Medals and Achievements.

Medals

Medals are awarded when you reach certain benchmarks, which are established by your number of Unique Defeated Opponents (UDOs). Most of the Medals have four grades: bronze, silver, gold, and onyx.

Unique Defeated Opponents (UDOs)

At Risk like games an UDO is a Unique Defeated Opponent. A Unique Defeated Opponent is a game Player you have defeated for the first time. Each different Player you defeat can only be counted ONCE toward your UDOs. Therefore, if you defeat the same player over and over again, you only get 1 UDO. You must defeat DIFFERENT players to increase your UDO count. That's how it works at Major Command Risk game.

UDOs can accrue in several different categories at the same time:

Example: You are the winner of a 4 player Singles Game on the Classic Evolved Map against 3 players you have never defeated before.

You will receive 3 UDOs towards your:

Total UDOs Medal
Consecutive UDOs Medal
Single UDOs Medal
Classic Evolved Map UDOs Medal

If the Game was an Assassin, Real-Time Risk game, or a Fixed Force Game, then you would also receive 3 UDOs towards your Assassin, Real-Time, or Fixed Force Medal.

If the Game was a 4 player Doubles Team Game, as opposed to a Singles game, then you and your partner would receive 2 UDOs each towards your Doubles Medal, as opposed towards a Singles Medal.

If the Game was a Mercenary Game, then you would receive a Mercenary UDO for each player you eliminate during that game. You do NOT need to WIN the game to receive a Mercenary UDO. The "winner" of the game, or "last player standing", will receive all the UDOs listed above, just like they would in a non-mercenary game, but the UDOs for the Mercenary Medal would be distributed any player who eliminated another player during the game.

Tournament Games are no different than non-Tournament games, in terms of UDOs, and you would receive all the UDOs based on the rules above.
